Genet Phillips Naquin, 59, a native of Weed, Calif., and resident of Texas City, Texas, died Friday, May 28, 1999.

Funeral services were scheduled for 2:30 p.m. today at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Houma, with interment in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Roland J. Naquin Sr. of Galveston, Texas; two sons, Roland Naquin Jr. of Houma, and Rene Naquin of Orange, Texas; three daughters, Sybil Williams of Texarkana, Texas, Mrs. Jeff (Francine) Miller of Houma, and Mrs. Darrell (Gwen) Loga of Bootsville; one brother, Vernon Phillips of Ogden, Utah; two sisters, Annie Lois Stark of Idaho and Patricia
Carrick of Ripon, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Sussie Faulkner Phillips; and one sister, Geneva Nell Carr of Neuman, Calif.
