TWIN FALLS — Allie Virginia (Lois) Stark passed away on March 6, 2006, at the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center.

Lois was born in Lindsey, Okla., on Dec. 22, 1934, to Vernon Lee and Susie O. Faulkner Phillips. She was the second oldest of five siblings. She spent her childhood in Oklahoma and California. Lois married Jack Reynolds in 1951, but their life together was cut short when she lost Jack, their unborn child and her mother in an automobile accident. In 1954, Lois married Jack Kennedy and lived in California until their marriage ended in divorce 13 years later. Lois later married Wayne Stark and was instantly blessed with three daughters. They lived in Idaho and Missouri, where they farmed for several years. After losing Wayne to a battle with cancer in 1993, she relocated to Grandview, Idaho, and later to Twin Falls so she could be closer to her daughters. Lois fully enjoyed being with family and friends and loved to work on jigsaw and crossword puzzles, crocheting and playing cards. She especially loved her doll collection and continued to add to it up until the time of her death.

Lois was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Wayne; sisters, Geneva Nell Carr, Patricia Carrick and Genet Naquin; and brother, Vernon Lee Phillips. Lois is survived by her daughters, Connie (Don) Kirk and Kathy Jones, both of Twin Falls, and Debbie (Bob) McKissen of Center Ridge, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

A celebration of Lois’ life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. E. in Twin Falls. A time of viewing will take place from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at Reynolds Funeral Chapel. Lois will be laid to rest next to her husband, Wayne at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Princeton, Mo., the following week. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in Lois’ name to a charity of your choice. Contributions may be given to funeral chapel staff or mailed to Reynolds Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 1142, Twin Falls, ID 83303.
