Phillips, Franklin Baron – Franklin Baron Phillips died at his home near Spring Valley. Deceased was a native of North Carolina and was in his 77th year.

Mr. Phillips was an early settler in North-West Arkansas and was one of her prosperous and most respected citizens.

Seven children and wife are left to mourn the loss of a father and husband while the community deplore the removal from its midst of a valuable citizen, neighbor and friend.

The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in this hour of sorrow.
